- For 2022 New Balance has released an all new mule version of the 2002R. The M2002RMG features a laceless upper consisting of a mesh base with premium suede and leather overlays and a "New Balance" logo on the tongue. The heel of the upper has been removed creating a mule silhouette allowing for an easy on/off. The upper sits on a cream midsole which uses both ABZORB® technology for additional stability and comfort and an N-ergy® midsole that provides superior shock absorption. The Ndurance rubber outsole with Stability Web technology offers superior traction and added arch support.
