-The XC-72 is a brand new model from New Balance that aims to combine retro style with futuristic technology. This rendition of the XC-72 silhouette features a light grey synthetic base that is complemented by suede overlays in various shades of white, grey and pin. Oversized light grey leather “N” logos are featured on both sides of the shoe and grey New Balance branding is featured on the pink coloured tongue. The upper sits on a slightly oversized light brown midsole featuring a unique split light grey rubber outsole with two different traction patterns that extend up onto the front sides of the shoe. An orange mesh stripe down the toe of the shoe along with a strip of orange rubber on the underfoot emphasizes the split approach to round out the futuristic design.
