- Designed in Canada and handmade in El Salvador, this shoe is crafted on zero heel-drop anatomical comfort-fit last to maximize toe room and support natural foot function. Premium all-leather uppers are made from Repello Calf by Charles F. Stead—a fine textured, lightly treated for water resistance while remaining breathable, supple, and durable, and developing a rich patina over time. A gusseted tongue provides old-fashioned weather protection, while our unique combination of blake rapid and forefoot stitchdown construction allows for easy re-crafting or resoling. Inside, extra-lightweight vegetable-tanned leather forms the insole, midsole, and heel cap to encourage natural movement, fully lined with premium kip leather. An unstructured toe box, military-spec elastic shock-cord lacing, and a slim 6 mm EVA midsole deliver a refined balance of protection and ground feel, finished with a Vibram Megalug #7132 outsole for confident grip on both wet and dry terrain.
