- Inspired by an American coverall jacket from around 1910, this T.T jacket reinterprets early workwear with considered adjustments to the original construction, including a modified shoulder slope for improved movement. The original twisted-yarn gabardine is inspired by chambray fabrics used in Italian military trousers during the 1910s, combining four colours of yarn to create a nuanced, faded surface. A degreasing wash gives the fabric a smooth, fluid texture, while the custom blanket lining blends cotton warp yarns with British wool melange weft for a coarse, tweed-like character. Brushed and washed finishes enhance its dry, vintage appearance. Custom-engraved buttons and iron back hardware are left unplated to develop rust and patina naturally over time.
