SERVICE BOOT 310 WAXED FLESH "WASH BROWN"
Details:
- A highly sought-after and limited leather pack, Waxed Flesh is made from the rough-out side of the leather and heavily waxed for durability and depth of character. When new, it presents a rich, slightly glossy surface with light water resistance; over time, the wax breaks down to expose a textured rough-out beneath, developing a distinctive, high-contrast patina. Waxed Flesh traces its origins to Horween’s historic military leathers—originally inspired by U.S. Marines who treated their boots with oil and wax in the field to improve weather protection, a process Horween later built directly into the tannage. For this release, the leather is further washed to relax the fibers and reveal a vintage look with natural highs and lows, delivering a worn-in character from the first wear. Viberg's Service Boot, based on their original 1931 model, is inspired by the Canadian military's WWII pattern. The 310 Service Boot features a unique design that dates back to 2007, with a wide E-width to accommodate various foot types. Its sprung toe, inspired by early 1900s military boots, allows for a rocking motion that enhances comfort during extended wear. A generous toe bump provides extra room for natural movement, while the heel height is based on traditional logging boots for optimal support. This pair features Dr. Sole Supergrip Sole.
