They delve into the history and culture of early canvas shoes, capturing intricate details and using a unique approach to revise and create. Each batch is produced in limited quantities and released irregularly. The shoes are manufactured in Kurume, Japan.

Crafted in Japan, the SOLS "Noir" is a refined update of the all-black version first released in late 2016. Featuring a luxurious French moleskin upper with carefully placed stitching, this edition boasts a redesigned upper pattern from 2023. The shoe is built for durability and comfort, with a high-density canvas heel counter, a cotton pile footbed, and a specially formulated anti-slip outsole. Authentic details include rayon shoelaces inspired by 1920s designs and wide canvas back foxing. Packaged in an old-style shoe box, this release is part of a limited first-lot production.
