- The jacket is crafted from Japanese full‑grain cowhide leather, produced via the prestigious “Kawanishi Tanneries” tanning method (water‑washing, lime‑soaking, de‑ashing, double dyeing & fattening) which results in rich colour, soft hand‑feel, and depth of finish. Because the leather is minimally surface‑finished (little top‑coating or “blow‑finish”), the texture of the hide—the grain, marks, variations—is intentionally preserved, giving the jacket character that deepens over time with wear. The lining is 100% cupro, offering a smooth, high‑quality interior finish. The overall result is a premium piece meant to age, patina and become personalised by the wearer.
