- The pants feature a wide, straight silhouette from waist to hem, making them easy to pair with any outfit and highly versatile. The tuck buttons are uncoated iron, and the rivets are copper-plated iron; both will gradually develop rust over time, creating a unique texture and character. Crafted from hemp and woven on historic looms in the Bishu region, using thick yarns in both the warp and weft to create an ultra-dense plain weave. Once woven, it undergoes a Nidom treatment that intentionally shrinks the cloth and introduces a textured, uneven surface. This process gently abrades the fibers, resulting in a soft, almost brushed hand reminiscent of naturally aged fabric. Although initially as stiff as canvas due to its density, the Nidom treatment transforms it into a material with the warmth, character, and supple feel of a well-worn vintage textile.
