LOT.303 COVERALL JACKET "CHARCOAL"
Details:
- Inspired from American workwear dating back to around 1910. In the era of mass production, garments prioritized durability over design—favoring straightforward construction, flat patterning, and hardwearing materials. These pieces functioned more like tools than clothing. While staying true to the original specifications, this version has been refined with sloped shoulders to reduce bulk and improve comfort under the arms.
Crafted from a high-density back satin made of cotton and hemp, with hemp yarn in the weft to enhance the fabric’s natural coolness, and open-end spun cotton yarn in the warp for a soft, textured hand. In a standard satin weave, one side is smooth and lustrous while the other is more matte and textured. With back satin, the matte side becomes the face, giving it a more subdued, workwear-appropriate look while still benefiting from the structure of the satin weave. All buttons and back components feature original engravings and are made from iron with a smoked plating finish.
