- Inspired by 1930s denim trousers, this piece is based on a detailed study of the era’s distinctive silhouette and construction, reinterpreted through a newly developed design. The high rise was designed to be worn with suspenders, while the straight silhouette extending from the waist and thighs to the hem preserves the rugged character of early workwear. 

The cotton satin fabric uses coarse-count yarns on the reverse side to enhance durability and abrasion resistance. Inspired by 1950s military garments that utilized the reverse face of fabrics for added strength, the construction highlights the natural irregularity of the yarns, creating a unique texture and depth. Custom-engraved buttons and back hardware are crafted from iron and finished with a smoked-style plating, expressing the passage of time through a subtle, aged appearance.
