- The J40-ANNMS is our first collaboration with Inconstant, limited to only 25 pieces, each with a serial number. ANNMS has odd numbers, and Inconstant kept even numbers. The launch comes with a cream 3D-printed souvenir tag and an Inconstant techwear garment bag. This jacket is priced twice as the regular J40, mainly due to the special washi fabric. The fabric is made from Japanese washi paper denim twill, woven on antique hand-operated looms. 

Washi is a strong, durable, and textured Japanese paper made from natural fibers. It’s super breathable, eco-friendly. Its unique texture adds a premium, organic feel. It takes a month to produce enough fabric for just 25 jackets. After that, a specialized design studio re-dyes the fabric, turning the white threads into a soft pink that blends with the original blue threads to create a neon-like purple-red effect. The jacket is purple on the outside and pink on the inside. The trim is made from synthetic fabric with a glass-fiber texture, creating a strong contrast with the rough denim material.

The J40 is a techwear take on the classic denim jacket, blending cyberpunk vibes with functionality. It’s designed for easy movement and hidden storage, perfect for carrying essentials without showing them. The sleeve design allows max mobility. The cuff shield cut lengthens the arms, and adjustable zippers on the cuffs add a nice touch. Two origami-inspired pockets up front—one hidden, one exposed—give it a unique look. The left pocket is layered, and the right side features Molle webbing. Hidden compartments and bottom pockets keep your items secure. The jacket also has a quick-release placket and adjustable waist tabs for a clean, versatile fit. J40 can be zipped off from back, and zip to another J40 in different color.
