- The Space Hippie from Nike is a story of trash reformed. From the upper to the outsole, Space Hippie 04 is made of at least 25% recycled material by weight. The Flyknit upper is produced using "Space Waste Yarn" and includes about 75% recycled content by weight-made from recycled plastic bottles, t-shirts and yarn scraps. The stretchy lightweight upper combines with a bootie fit for a snug, comfortable ride. The upper sits on a Crater Foam midsole which combines Nike grind with a blend of foams for stability and a unique aesthetic. The innovative use of recycled material, and the deconstructed yet futuristic style of the Space Hippie 04 make it an exciting addition to any collection
