- This hooded parka is crafted from ripstop cotton that has been piece-dyed and laminated with a shiny, fine-grained polyurethane film, creating a prismatic effect. After construction, the garment undergoes a fading process, with the prismatic sections overdyed, while certain areas resist fading to reveal contrasting darker shades. It features a quilted padded lining and a detachable padded hood secured with buttons and a large geometric Velcro chin strap. Functional details include large slanted hand pockets with concealed zippers, additional slanted snap-closure pockets, and a drawstring at the waist that remains visible from the outside. The cuffs are finished with tightening straps and button fastenings, while a two-way zipper lies beneath a concealed snap placket. The iconic Stone Island badge accents the left sleeve. Inside, the quilted lining is designed with a V-neckline, an internal buttoned pocket with Compass embroidery, and snap fastening; it can be attached to the outer garment using a tie system inspired by sailing equipment.
