LOT.006 NEWSBOY CAP "MELANGE BROWN"
$300.00 CAD
Details:
- This cap recreates an early 1900s newsboy cap found in a New Jersey antique dealer’s warehouse, with a refined silhouette inspired by the original. While often linked to newspaper boys, the “flat cap with a visor” was worn widely across the working class. It’s made from “TWEEDUROY,” a corduroy printed with a tweed pattern, revived from a 1930s sports jacket in Takahashi’s collection. Developed by the Hockmeyer Company in Massachusetts, the fabric was prized for its wool-like look and superior durability.
