LOT.801 AUTOMOBILE DEER LEATHER JACKET "BLACK"
Details:
- This leather jacket is inspired by a 1930s American car coat. Its seamless one-piece leather construction on the front body is exceptionally rare and luxurious, requiring careful selection of high-quality leather. Made from deerskin, the jacket is naturally soft, lightweight, and flexible, becoming even more supple and conforming to the body with wear—offering superior comfort compared with stiffer leathers like horsehide. It is crafted using vegetable-tanned techniques adapted for deerskin, employing the traditional pit-tanning method, where leathers are soaked for about a month in pits filled with vegetable tannins—a time-intensive process practiced by only a few companies in Japan. The simple front design features double-welt hand pockets without flaps, while the sleeves are finished with classic cuffs. The back includes a non-metal waist-adjusting tab designed to prevent damage to car seats. Original nut buttons crafted from natural coconut shells. Body lined with full cashmere for comfort, and sleeves are lined with rayon and cotton blend fabric for easy put on when layering
