HEMP PLEATS JACKET "BLACK"
Details:
- An oversized jacket inspired by the Type I trucker, featuring the WWII two-button detail and T-back construction. The jacket retains the WWII-style no-flap pockets but introduces a new configuration with two generously sized pockets and omits the traditional buckle back for a modern update. The fabric is made from 100% hemp, woven on historic looms in the Bishu region using thick yarns in both warp and weft to achieve an ultra-high-density plain weave. After weaving, the cloth undergoes a Nidom treatment that intentionally shrinks the fabric and creates a textured, uneven surface. During this process, the fibers are softly abraded, giving the material a supple, almost brushed hand reminiscent of naturally aged cloth. While the fabric starts out stiff like canvas due to its density, the Nidom treatment transforms it into a fabric with the character, softness, and vintage feel of a well-worn textile.
